Missions Unaccomplished

Well, I've already missed two days of blog posting, so NaBloPoMo is already a bust. :(

Plus, my novel for NaNoWriMo isn't going too well. I didn't write anything at all yesterday, and the novel itself isn't really catching fire like I'd hoped.

I generally have between an hour and a half and two hours uninterrupted a day to write, but I don't get anywhere near my quota of 1,600+ words a day. In the past, whether it was work or school, my problem was always writing too much, not too little. It's a weird feeling to type and type and realize at the end I've only written 500 words.

Plus I still have mom stuff to do and house stuff to do, so I don't have much more time to add.

The novel itself isn't really thrilling me, either. I don't know if it's the subject matter or the fact that it's a novel, not something I've ever tried before.

I didn't think it would be easy, I just didn't think it would be this hard...
