I need an apron

I've just now come to that realization. Though that epiphany has a little to do with the fact that I've seen the cutest apron on sale at World Market (think this one but cheaper), it also has to do with the fact that my local grocery store sells beef bacon. Okay, go with me on this one.

Bacon is one of those foodstuffs that's tough to find for us non-pork eaters out there. In fact, sometimes turkey bacon has pork in it -- for flavoring, I suppose -- which seems to me to sort of defeat the purpose. Plus, beef bacon (BB) tends to be a little pricey, so it's kind of a luxury item for me when I can find it.

Anyway, I was preparing to cook some BB this morning (okay, this afternoon) when I thought that the grease might ruin my robe (yes, I'm still in my robe at 1:00 in the afternoon. What of it?). We all know what a pain it is to wash grease out of our clothing, so I thought, 'I need an apron.' So I guess I'm going to get one. Eventually. But only if it's really cute. So, there.

I guess I really *am* becoming a domestic goddess

Girl, I came to the same epiphany when I kept getting pasta sauce on all my white shirts. I hate cleaning stains, but couldn't find any aprons that fir my sense of style. So, I made them myself!
