Home Again

Yesterday I spent the night in Ely, NV with the DH (hence yesterday's untitled post. I haven't quite got the mobile blogging thing down yet).

He often spends a few days up there when he's "in the field." I've been wanting to go up there and look around, and finally did it yesterday.

I can't say it was all that exciting, but the timing was a little off. I got there yesterday afternoon around 2. Of course, there's not much going on in a small town on a Sunday afternoon, so our options were pretty limited.

We took a tour of the steam train depot, which was pretty interesting, if long. I took plenty of cool machinery and train pictures, so maybe I'll post some later.

After the tour, we ate dinner at a nice little family restaurant and that was about it.

This morning the DH had to work and had to check out of his room, so the baby and I left around 9 am to come back to town.

I can't really say the trip was worth the 4 hour drive, but it all in all it was a nice change of scene.
